D.E.P Endorsement for Provisional Operators

BC Crane has come out with a DEP Endorsement, allowing the Provisional operator (B ticket) to lift a DEP for extracting workers in case of an emergency.  In the past, the lift required a direct supervisor for the Provisional operator to be on site. With the approved endorsement, the direct supervisor is not required to be onsite.  There are some restrictions, outlined in the checklist. Employers must use this checklist and submit to BC Cranes at DEP@bccranesafety.ca .
